LIVE ILLUSTRATION

I create custom watercolor portraits of your guests in real time, capturing their essence with a vibrant, fashion-inspired twist. Each illustration is hand-drawn during the event, turning candid moments into personalized keepsakes. It’s an interactive experience your guests will love — watching their portrait come to life and walking away with a one-of-a-kind memory, painted just for them.

How many people can you illustrate per hour?

Each portrait takes about 5–7 minutes for individuals and around 9–10 minutes for couples. In a typical 3-hour event, I can complete anywhere from 10-12 illustrations, depending on the pace of the evening. If your guest list is larger, some portraits may be finished after the event and delivered later — so everyone still receives their custom artwork!

What's your process?

Guests are invited to stop by my table, where I’ll snap a quick photo of them before they return to enjoy the event. Their custom portrait will be completed during the celebration and ready for pickup later in the evening, presented in a clear protective sleeve.

I also offer personalized touches like names, dates, or custom notes on each piece.

I require a shaded setup space with a chair and a table at least 4 feet wide to work comfortably and display the finished artwork. Guests are welcome to watch the illustration process unfold live — it's part of the experience!

How many people can you add on a portrait?

To make sure I can capture as many guests as possible during the event, each guest is limited to one illustration. Up to three people can be drawn together on a single illustration, but it still counts as one portrait per person — and only one original will be given per group. Please note: copies are not available.

Can pre-print a logo, date or other personalization onto my paper. I am also able to include a personalized note from the bride and groom with each illustration.

How do I book for my event?

To get started, simply fill out the contact form below. If I’m available for your event date, I’ll follow up with a custom quote tailored to your needs.

When you're ready to book, a signed contract and a 10% deposit are required to secure your date.

The remaining balance is due the day before your event. Let’s bring something beautiful and memorable to your celebration!

Cancelations within 14 days due the event are non-refundable.

My calendar has limited spots and I get booked up fast, so I recommend reaching out as soon as possible. I am accepting bookings for the rest of 2025 as well as 2026.

Do you offer pop-ups?

I offer a Mini Portrait Bar — a fun and interactive live art experience perfect for pop-ups, mixers, markets, and grand openings! Guests can stop by, get a quick custom portrait, and leave with a one-of-a-kind keepsake. It's a unique way to make your event stand out and give people something to talk about (and take home!).

Are you able to travel?

I am based in McAllen, Texas, but I do travel. Any location outside McAllen, Edinburg, Mission and San Juan will require an additional travel fee, which is dependent on distance. I will travel to San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and outside Texas to illustrate your event.

Note that events in other cities will require a 3 hour minimum booking plus travel fee.

Other illustrations you offer?

If at the end Live Art is out of your budget or you think won't fit your event style. I offer Pre-Post event illustrations, ideal for seating chart or thank you cards.

Pre event Illustrations: Send me the pictures of your guests and names at least 3 weeks before the event. I'll complete them in studio and mail them to you before the event day.

Post event Illustrations: Send me the pictures taken at the event from the guests that you want me to illustrate, it would take around 2-4 weeks to finish them and mail them to you. Any additional information like personal message on the back of the illustrations will have an additional fee.

Price varies: $10 for singles, $15 for couples, $20 for groups.

If requested 50+ portraits, I'll give a discount.
